found that TEC hangars, with the flack turets improvement, attack with 80 dps, 4 hangars easly kill any attack of corvets, good damage frigates and capitalship.
i don`t understand this joke, when the basic turets attack only 20 dps.
TECH Hangars are a good counter to corvettes and intended so.
Unfortunately the info card is like statistics sometimes (damn and damn lies).
A TECH Hangar with the autocannon upgrade does 10 dps per bank (Front, Back, Left and Right). It can also engage 2 targets per bank. This does put the total potential damage at 80. The most single target damage though would be around 20 if positioned right.
Hangars also do ANTIVERYLIGHT damage so 2-4 hangars won't be killing many frigates or Capital ships.
I hope that in the update, everything gets nerfed so hard that all weapons are replaced with pool noodles. Only then will I be content with life.
On the upside, all of the damage and weapons upgrades can be condensed into a single pool noodle upgrade, which leaves space for future upgrades like spoilers and two-tone paint jobs.
