Suggestion = Refined Research is V annoying

After you max out your research trees you can opt to continue in techs such as 'Refined Mana'

These 'Refined' techs should research indefinitely. I really should not have to pick again every other turn when it completes.

Definitely. Seconded. +1.

Basically, all the "repeatable" research items need to be, well, repetitive! Either as an option or simply that's the way it is.

I agree. At that point the repeating popup just becomes annoying.

YESSSSSS!!! PLease do this. I'm not playing epic games because of THIS single feature. So annoying the popup windows, when you're done researching everything, and you're able to reseach the continuous stuff in one turn. OR....Make the continuous ones more and more longer to research.

If it would be infinite, then how would you get the benefit if there is no end to it? Is not same mechanic as a city generating growth / mana / research etc.

Intended mechanic, I don't see a problem with it :)

Tho, if you're researching the repeatable tech in 1 turn (meaning you're so pumped out on research & everything else) how comes you did not win the game yet? Did you raze all your enemy cities leaving them only with the most undeveloped one to make sure they can't attempt spell of making, and nuked all their armies to make sure they won't even think about Epic Quest? (as conquest is out of question since you can control that pretty easy at that level of advancement, and you will just refuse to join an alliance to deny them this VC as well).

As far as I'm aware monsters / lairs don't respawn over time, if you built and researched everything, why continue? Sure you had all map scouted long before you even got into middle of your research trees.

But hey, each to their own :)

It's actually very simple: We should get the regular research complete popup and we chose to continue research or chose to change it, like it is already happening when you select a tech that is further along the tree. Done.

At the very least, yes, the option to continue without re-opening the research page would be incredible.

Ideally, though, the game would be intelligent enough to know that you have no one-shot researches left, and auto-cycle whatever repeatable you're on ad infinitum.
