Faction Creation: What do pirmary/secondary colours do?

Heya folks!

Noob question here, in the faction appearence options what do primary and secondary colours do? changing them seems to have no effect, cheers!

I believe they affect the color of the faction clothing, and some of the faction buildings. Try setting it to ridiculous colors like bright green and bright orange, start the game, and see what the clothing on trained units looks like (easiest in the design screen, where you can switch between different clothing items to see what each color affected).

Also, if you do that, I really do recommend using colors that contrast strongly and aren't the more common browns and tans that most of the stuff in the game normally uses.

I just tested this the other day, doing basically what joeball123 suggested. As far as I can tell, Primary = the color of your buildings walls in town, and Secondary = the color of your buildings... stonework so to speak (such as wells), or the foundation of your buildings. These are the only two instances I ever saw the hideous neon colors I used to test it out ;)

lol, thanks for the replies guys!  I'll remember not to use any hideous neon colours :-D

Cheers, haven't got around to actually making anything custom yet, I was just experimenting in the workshop, hence not realising the building colours!
