So, i am off in the wild lands, hovering over my heroes and a dangerous situation. I am attempting to cleanse them so i can settle another city when something good happens in a bad way.
I am told to upgrade my city and i don't know where on the map my city is. This happens all the time, and i am sick of renaming my cities to "Conclave, Fortress, City" at the end of each name. The problem with this is that i have to do extra micromanagement that does not reward me for doing it (i get to know what city is which on the upgrade screen which i should get anyway) and i am punished for not doing it (i might pick the wrong one!)
In fact, i find this the worst flaw. This is because i can just lose track of things. In civ, when my city is ready for a new building, my camera is taken to my city so i know where on the map City X is.
So, when being prompted to upgrade a city, instead of an obtrusive popup that blocks everything else, make this happen different.
1. Give a button on the right side of the screen that i can click to enter the popup, and let me exit the popup without choosing so i can look more closely at my ledger before making a choice. Please "force" the choice at end turn or never. This way if i don't want to choose now i don't have to, but i can when i do. Note that i might want to resolve diplomacy for the turn before deciding if i need a fortress or a conclave.
2. Give me a button to "go-to" city.
3. Tell me in the popup what resources, food, materials, essence, etc, etc the city has. This will likely decide what kind of city it is.
If this could be fixed, i will have confidence in the cities i build - without having to rename them all the time. I would also like
