Just wondering...

For some reason MP seems to run faster than SP for me. I think it's like twice as fast at the beginning, and late game about the same speed, maybe still somewhat faster...Even tho it's the same settings and the same graphic options :S

Is there any explanation for this or is it just me?

Its not just you. Everyone gets that. I don't know if its intentional but its another reason you need to be extremely fast early game.
