cant figure out where to put my map,

ok. to be blunt i looked all over and i cant quite figure out whats wrong. no mater where i put my map it wont show up in game. which is well better then what it did in beta where it just crashed my comp whenever i start the game up, until i removed it. so can anyone give me a hand. i tried putting it in galaxies as well as as well as a few other spots.  and nothing seemed to work, so any help would be quite welcomed.

First, are you sure your map was made for Rebellion? Old maps are sadly no longer compatible. To check, just open it up in notepad and see if it says "Version 3" somewhere near the top.

If it says Version 4, go to "My Documents", "My Games", "Ironclad Games", "Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion". You might want to make a shortcut to this folder as it holds the mod folders, save folders, replay folders and most other content you might be interested in. Place the map in the folder called "GalaxyForge". This location was changed during the Rebellion beta, so thats why most advice was out of date.

ya thanks that worked. hate it when they separate it like that, but now i can play on a map i like best.
