That looks like a prototype model. The coloring was done by hand, it seems. The KOL was written with a black permanent marker as far as I can tell.

Yeh that doesn't look like a casting. Im sure its still pretty awesome though.

To me it looks like one of those paper models. The kind you put together. 

 

So yeah it looks painted and Sharpie.
