Quick query - Unyielding Will (advent eradica)

Just wanted to know as haven't been keeping up with patch notes.

When Unyielding Will activates - does this mean guaranteed titan death still? (wasn't sure if was a bug at the time) even if you jump your titan out in time or heal enough to not be near death.

Kind of puts me off wanting to see the titan's ultimate ability kick in if it means guaranteed death. Better to try and retreat before the ability can activate or not put any points in it at all for fear of it activating during 1 of those "close" battles...  =/

thoughts appreciated

Cheers

Yes, it does die. But all Titans keep their levels and XP so don't worry about it too much.

k cheers, well that sux a bit imo. =(

Anyone else not think, especially as it's the titans "ultimate" ability you should at least have the chance to save your titan when this ability kicks in?? I'd wouldn't mind seeing the regen rates nerfed a little to compensate...  =/

The "titan keeping level on death" rule shouldn't justify the ability staying in its current implication =/

I'd be happy to see titan's revert to level 1 if it meant this ability could be buffed a little, as it is i guess i'll just have avoid putting points in to it which is the opposite attitude you should have with ultimate abilites.  =(

i love the eradica, but i hate how its ult does not synergies with his Q at all

the ult  activate the same way, on death you become invincible but during this state your q should give you back the hull and shields once the invulnerability is done with, that way you can eather use it to gtfo or for your final stand

i also kinda wish that its E and Q had the same range per lvl but thats not as big of an issue in my eyes

The current implementation of the ability is terrible.  I doubt few will spend a point on it even in single player.  There was a fairly lengthy thread about this ability a few weeks ago when the advent were first introduced in the beta.  The thread focused more on the multiplayer aspect of the ability and how your opponent can simply choose when and where to destroy the titan to make the ultimate as useless as possible.

I've been trying to come up with some ideas myself on new abilities to replace this one for a personal use balance mod I've been planning.  One issue I think the developers tend to run into with the advent is that you can't give them too many big damage abilities because of the way they can synergize with malice.  If this wasn't the case I imagine this titan would have a few more heavy damage abilities like the TEC rebel titan.

Well even if it is guaranteed to die, the Eradica can still do a hell of a lot of damage in 60 seconds with 75% faster ability cooldown and 500% AM regen. The Advent have always been about fleet synergies, so even though you lose the titan, you can decimate your enemy's, then rebuild the titan. And while it's true that in multiplayer people may stratigize to minimize the ult's usefulness, the AI is no where near smart enough to do that so it's still gonna be powerful in singleplayer.

Yeah if the enemy is stupid enough to kill eradica and just stand and fight the invulnerable death machine.  There's not a lot the eradica can do to keep opponents from simply retreating during it's remaining moment of life.

The ability is kind of crappy-but it's not a huge issue as the eradica shines in other areas.
