A better way to view your fighter squads.

I built a carrier titan for a mod, the carrier holds 20+ fighters and or bombers. But once you build the fighters and bombers the list starts to overlap your ships health and what not.

Can this list be made to be horizontal? Or maybe away to have it compacted like this.

+10 Fighters

+10 Bombers

+2 Tactical Bombers

You'd click the plus and it would expand horizontal?

Same goes with normal ships with abilites, can they be made to have a scroll option, and the ability cap removed.

It could be done but I wouldn't count on any official version of Rebellion containing such a feature if I were you...

Yes, the same problem is with fully upgraded Advent starbases. You dont even see its name with full strikecraft upgrade.

I would consider this alternative...

Let's say a squadron has 5 individual strikecraft...for "balance purposes", you don't want to change the number of squadrons on anything else in the game...so, how do you give your carrier Titan the power of 20+ normal squadrons?

Well, you could simply make the Titan's squadrons more powerful per squadron...for example, 20 "normal" squadrons would be 100 strikecraft...but if a Titan's squadrons each have 10 strikecraft (instead of 5), then you'd only need 10 titan squadrons to equal 20 "normal" squadrons...

The best way to do this would be to create a copy of each squadron, rename it, and simply up the number of SC per squadron...there is a consequence of this (building a 1 "titan" squadron will take longer than building 1 "normal" squadron) but if it bothers you, a passive ability in the 5th slot that increases SC build rates would fix that...

I've already though of that, but the squadron strike craft have a tendancy not to build what you tell it to; and if they do make an appearance it's after they've been destroyed and are getting replaced.

I don't understand what you mean?

Thanks for that horribly helpful outburst Mr. I-don't-know-who-without-a-face.

I think what he means is that the programming for building strikecraft somehow got effed up during the building process.

Or maybe he means he's already having problems with it and doesn't want to exaberate the problem.

We may never know...  o_O

I'm saying for me when i set the strike craft to let's say 10 in a squad, it only builds 3. Then randomly if they get destroyed when it's replaceing them they will sometimes appear.

So i don't bother with that i go for the sure thing.
