[SUGGESTION] Let fan art show up in the loading screen (current one is meh)

[SPACE PONY DISCLAIMER] I love you guys, the game is great and I appreciate all the hard work you pour into it. but... [/DISCLAIMER]

The current loading screen kind of sucks. It seems to have been patched up in 15 minutes (or less...)

My suggestion thus is this:

Let some community creep in in. Throw us a bone.

Give us the option to:

1) let game screenshots show up randomly on the loading screen, just patch up the 'loading...' somewhere. A translucent subtitle bar is enough for me.

2) let us select a folder to put up random images.

3) make an official community screenshot gallery at the website, and/or steam cloud. Give us the option to enable 'community screenshots' on the game settings. the game would cache some of those screenshots in the user folder (Games/Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion/Community Screenshots) up to XX MB. Use these images as loaders. Periodically delete older ones and download newer ones.

Yeah, yeah, you are up to your nostrils on bug fixing, but if you can at least enable the loading of screenshots in the loading screen, people can already populate that folder to their hearts content.

Would be cool to have some of these options enabled I think.

They probably don't want to put all of that time into a loading screen, would they?

Still we are tethered to Steam why not have have a good reason to be tethered to Steam.  This is an awesome suggestion.  The size of the file can have some reasonable limit and can be a feature turned on and off by the user (in case they have a permanently crappy connection).

Do you want checksum differences and unable to play with others?
