Galactic Civilization's fanfics

I would like to know how come there are not that many fanfics that are in the Galactic Civilizations area? I always see fanfics for other 4X games but I barely see any for this one. What is the case for lack of fanfics on this game? And if anyone can find any that would be great.

I don't see the particular appeal of outright fanfiction for a game, but there are many AARs written in fictionalized form. The few "actual" fanfics anyone has written can also be found in that section.
