Anyone interested in trying to schedule set days and times for games?  I'd be interesting in set days and times for pro matches and set days and times for just fun games (take whoever shows up that indicates some interest here).  I still get fun games and fun pro games from time to time, but I think maybe setting a few times a week where we agree to wait for certain folks would be fun.  More often than not lately, I find myself choosing not to wait for a gg and just going with whatever I can get started in the shortest order.  It certainly beats waiting a long time.  But that said, I'd love to see if we could set a few times weekly and see if folks would show up for it. 

Anyone else interested?  Just say so here.  I'd love to schedule a 3v3 pro game at 7PM est on 8/1/2011 if there is enough interest.   I figure the fun games could be favor mod or anything really.  Most games I don't care what the teams are. 

Anyway, I'd be willing to check this thread on a semi daily basis and see who is free for whatever the set time is and WAIT on them to show up.  This means that as long as folks show up, we could start having gg's regularly.

Cyas later it's been fun.... just installed the greatest rated RTS game of all time and already enjoying getting games going in a matter of minutes...If anyone is up for some Company of heroes, My nick is LukasAdro catcha later. IMHO Demigod is finished.

Company of heroes is awesome! hmm....Might gonna install that myself!

I been doing starcraft 2, whch is fun. But the ranked games are always on the fastest speed. Which is so damn hard!

Does Company of Heroes still have their own servers or are you playing that through game ranger?  I bought it a couple weeks ago and had to install like 30 patches one by one so I got annoyed and haven't played it yet.  I'll probably check it out now though with Demigod down.

CoH was fun - they even had the full game available online for free as well, but I believe they canceled that project... think it was going to be free to play.

Anyway, its a fun game.  Played through it some years ago and its certainly something to pass the time with.  Fun SP at any rate.

yeah the freetoplay was awesome! But they canned it during beta and reverted back to retail. It's still fully supported with ongoing patches ect... You only need to get Tales of Valor for the full armies and play online. The other two (company of heroes and opposing fronts) have additional campaign content but net games are the same.

I've bought the entire pack (gold pack or some such), then installed from CD and hit the patches after that. Sure the patches took a couple of hours to download/install and there's like 10 of them the game relaunches after each... but it is certainly in full swing again.

Company of heroes died back when company of heroes online was up, and then when they canned the online many people weren't bothered to uninstall COHO and reinstall and re-patch the retail (myself included I was PISSED OFF when they canned COHO it was the best thing ever to be released hands down IMHO), tho now the retail version is up and running with tonnes of players again.It's also avail from steam.

Perhaps when DG goes F2P or DGII were to be created I'd have a bash; when perhaps the support and player base is there.

oh, I think you can download those patches from their servers using torrents too, might be faster than the relic downloader, though I think it's a torrent downloader anyway.

Regarding Company of heroes its actually LESS problems to just "steal" it with Torrents.

I buy my games and have no problem with it. But When me and some friends used our BOUGHT company of heroes to do a LAN..it simply didnt work.

We downloaded the pirate version. Patched, installed and was playing right away.

You are in a room with people you are going to play with, or talk to. Talking going on and you dont understand a word they are saying. It can be nothing, it can be about the game. In any case, you are left out before those people decides you are not worth to include in it. This is just simply rude.

Think about it. You are at a pub with your friends and someone visits from another country. Do you sit there still talking Mumbo jumbo in your language, or do you switch to english so everyone can understand?

Of course you talk english then, otherwise you are a rude jackass.

stopped port forwarding and switched to upnp only... oddly, my properly forwarded ports seemed to cause the issue.
