Anyone interested in trying to schedule set days and times for games?  I'd be interesting in set days and times for pro matches and set days and times for just fun games (take whoever shows up that indicates some interest here).  I still get fun games and fun pro games from time to time, but I think maybe setting a few times a week where we agree to wait for certain folks would be fun.  More often than not lately, I find myself choosing not to wait for a gg and just going with whatever I can get started in the shortest order.  It certainly beats waiting a long time.  But that said, I'd love to see if we could set a few times weekly and see if folks would show up for it. 

Anyone else interested?  Just say so here.  I'd love to schedule a 3v3 pro game at 7PM est on 8/1/2011 if there is enough interest.   I figure the fun games could be favor mod or anything really.  Most games I don't care what the teams are. 

Anyway, I'd be willing to check this thread on a semi daily basis and see who is free for whatever the set time is and WAIT on them to show up.  This means that as long as folks show up, we could start having gg's regularly.

Sleep are for the weak! And it was well worth it. Lots of fun, balanced teams and what I like the most....the games turned several times!

I understand when we are beat. The enemy has the whole map, we are doing our last stand.... Its over.

Last night PROVED that even if one team gets alot of kills and get well fed, the game can turn...and it did...several times even.

Hehe, I sleep about 3-4 hours a night. Thats normal for me. Great for a gamer. I play Travian too...so thats good I can see all the attacks whenever they happen :-p

oh my god, you remind me of my crazy past with MMORPG. People would call me out at night at 4am in the morning when anyone got attacked in my union. Oh well it was a different browser game, though. A german one, so when I was awake, everyone else was asleep and got destroyed by me xD

nah - what I said was that we need to start coordinating more, or we will probably lose.  That was when we were down quite a bit in war score and were being forced into a corner for a bit 3v3 with them having flag control.  We made a nice come back shortly after that.

I will be hosting games tonight in game ranger starting at 7 PM EST (same time as the other "game nights").  Anyone is welcome.

If you are a game ranger noob (I was up until yesterday), all you have to do is go to http://www.gameranger.com/.

Then, download the client (its small).  Register for a free account (takes less than 3 min to register and activate).  You need to confirm using email to activate, so use an email address you can check.

Then, look for my game in Demigod around 7PM EST.  If you toy with the interface for a few minutes, you'll be able to filter out all other games but Demigod.  This way, you only see DG games that are running or are open. 

About game ranger - this is the place that most folks would play online if they used a cracked version of Demigod.  Folks still using the service will have a different version of Demigod than us, so I don't believe they can join our games and we can't join there games either.  Game ranger more or less makes it look like you are connecting to other people over lan.  No stats are recorded on the DG servers - you simply play for fun.

How do I join a GR lobby?

Just double click on an open DG lobby.  Keep in mind that you can join any non password protected GR lobby, but that doesn't mean you can actually play with them if they have a different version than you.  Once everyone has joined, the host initiates the game.  You may or may not have to launch demigod yourself at this point (not sure).  Then, click on LAN (note - LAN).  Wait for the game to pop up and join the lobby.

Did you tell everyone to disable the non-ui mods like uberfix etc. In my experience it has crashed from these if anyone has them enabled - not just the host.
