I can't use my spell checker anymore?!?!

I use a program called IESpell when making posts in forums to correct my often flawed spelling mistakes. I do this by typing out a reply, then highlighting everything I just typed, right clicking on it, and there's an option in my context menue that says "check spelling". Now I can't do that in the reply box. Please fix this.

I can do it on other forums still so I know it has to be a very recent change that's been made here. Now when I highlight what I type in this box and right click I have very few limited options.

Trust me, you're going to see my spelling go down hill rapidly around here if you don't fix it :P , especially when my meds are kicking in or if I'm particularly "baked"  that night...LoL.

I can say that I don't have either of those problems, but I'm using Firefox, not IE...  So there is an alternative if you're really after an immediate solution.

Hello...somethings up. usually when I put three dots between words it shows up as a link. That's not happening now. And none of my mistakes are being flagged. Very disconcerting.

A solution that I find that work 100% percent of the time is learning how to spell, then after that I would sound it out, and then search it on Google

Seriously, though: Do you have extensions like AdBlockPlus or Ghostery running? If so except WinCustomize from your AdBlockPlus, and uninstall Ghostery.

I only use IE when the forums mess up and become unreadable on firefox.

I'm not running any of those programs, Doc.

When I say "Mod" btw I'm talking about the "technical, does programming work on the site", kind of Mod. :P Unless of course you are that kind of Mod, in which case, thanks for showing up, Doc :) :P

Yep, I'm using the current version. Using the tool bar though did the trick, the option shows up there as normal. Can't believe I didn't think to check that..LoL, duh. Thanks, Yrag, good looking out bro.

I'm still interested in knowing what exactly was changed that stopped it from working in the right-click context menu on here, as it only does it here. Now in these reply boxes here the only options I get are:

Cut

Copy

Paste

Insert/edit link

Unlink

Insert/edit image

Alignment

Even those only show up when I have something highlighted. When I don't have anything highlighted I only have Cut, Copy, Paste, Insert/edit image, and Alignment.

LoL, Doc...you treat me like I'm some kind of noob :P . I know how to add programs to my context menu. It's something that was definitely changed here. It shows up as normal in my context menu on all the other forums I use, which honestly hasn't been all that many since I've been sick. I just checked on the Xenonauts forums and in the posting comments on GameSpot and it works there. I do appreciate the link though :). Your efforts don't go un-noticed my friend, they are appreciated :).

Just one more thing to add to the growing list of "what no longer works on WinCustomize". What a shame that none of these issues seem to be on the priority to fix. One is treated like an infidel if they complain about the non working features on the site. Makes you wonder what the priorities are.x_x X(

Never meant to imply a slight, bud. ;)  I figured you might have missed it because of illness...

"I blame Skinhit  Bara" except that the code for the Forum must look like a plate of spaghetti...how he finds one end or beginning is beyond me!  ;P
