Noob Bashers - First Impression

So I just had the wonderful experience of having someone whine and complain about my playing in a game entitled noobs only.  I would think a game called noobs only would be just that - for noobs.

I bought the game last night and have done okay so far.  However, once one mistake was made in the game (I died - oh no!), this person just started going off left and right about what I was doing wrong and the other guy on my team as well (3v3).  See, the thing that doesn't make sense about people who are jerks to noobs is it is completlely counter-productive to winning.

This is a game where you have to pay attention to what is going on.  When someone is distracting a noob, or anyone for that matter, via chat spam and insults, the only result will be additional mistakes.  So the funny, and ironic, thing about it is that this "pro" was making me play worse by constantly distracting me from thinking about strategic maneurvers and getting out of there before it was too late (played a torch burner). Its like driving a car and having someone bitch at you about every maneuver you make. Its going to distract you. Period.

That being said, my only suggestion to the people out there who think the are god's gift to video games, think before you type. And if you stress that much about someone else dying in a video game, I have got to wonder how you cope with others in real life. Its a pretty quick indicator to someone's maturity.

 

P.S This person, Blaze_of_Glory, claimed we just lost the game for him after every time I or the other teammate died. We won by the way, and he probably thinks it was all because of him.

Don't let idiots like that get you down. I mean them being in a noobs only game and bitching about allies doing bad says alot about the person. Like someone in your other thread said look up OMG we've got some pretty nice people whom I'm sure wouldn't mind helping you abit I can't however because my computer won't run demigod at the time.

Lmao, don't let idiots like that get to you, and don't let it turn you off to demigod. A word of advice random pugging is a dangerous sport, its full of rage quitters, assholes, and everything else that has cause this game to lose players, but this game still has a side to it that keep players coming back. I haven't found that side myself, but I know its their, download ventrilo and head to lagwars (don't know the direct port by heart. That is where most of the....lets say interesting players hang around. We will have no problem helping you get better and truly enjoying the game.

if they tell you exactly what youre doing wrong then try to fix that. if youre not an exceptional player and the other team was filled with halfway experienced player the game was won despite of you, not because of you. thats how this game is. in a 3v3 one player can lose the game.

He did win it for the team. I only played 2-5 multiplayer matches and I even know that.

just played a game with that guy blaze_of_gory. that he screamed doesnt mean you were doing things wrong. we were beast/sed/reg and he didnt get heal and died 2 times of pure stupidity. blamed it on us of course though we clearly couldnt have done anything. at lvl3 we didnt have a stun and no teleports.
