Do lots of people still play online?

Hi all, I just wanted to know if lots of people still play this game online , because I currently have the demo and HATE the AI. And with no one playing online for demo games I dont know if there's still lots of games happeneing in the real game because i've already planned on getting the real game. So if you could please, fill me in on as to how many of you still play this game. Thanks in advance. :grin:

Hey,

There is a steady amount of people playeing online every day. Although it isn't an enourmous amount it is enough to get into a game. If you like the game you should buy it, you will definetaly have a great time online, even if you have to wait a bit to get into a game sometimes. :)

currently 36 ppl in game or lobby / pantheon queue.  I tried to get a game going a couple hours ago and it was again, 30-40 ppl in game, lobby, or queue.

p.s. "Players Online" does not refer to people currently IN demigod.  Currently says 908 online.. however.. add up all the numbers from lobby / game / queue to get 36.  Does that mean 872 people are sitting there watching and waiting for someone to host a specific lobby?  No.. iirc it's merely the people who have impulse running and have demigod installed.

Nice :) Always good with more player. Be sure to read some strageties etc before you go into online. That will probably get you better a lot quicker. Oh, and listen to more experienced players. :)

I say they get rid of Pantheon altogether and just go with custom games.

Before the reset, I believe there was something like 30,000 ppl listed on the ladder rank. After the reset, there is only like 3000. Clearly this is an issue.

It was only about 3000 people who played before the reset aswell. Those 30 000 where inactive accounts etc etc.
