Nothing more frustrating than losing because your partner is a feeder.

Just had to rant, I look at my losses and virtually all but two(, I admit I was doing some experimenting and my experiments failed as I did lol) of my losses were due to having less than competant team mates and or feeders. Since this isn't a game that one player can pull the rest of the team, it makes it all the more aggrivating to lose only because your partner would feed the enemy.

Anyway, rant over.

oh.. there are a few more frustrating things in demigod, but that is definitely one of them.  I agree though... one bad teammate can pretty much end the game for you.

be in my last 2 games and you'll be driven crazy by one or both of my teammates

hehe... maybe, but really, there are plenty of obnoxious things... about to win and some ass kills the game... or desync or bleh.

I still know what you guys mean though :)

To make matters worse, most feeders tend to die with double teams as they apparently don't grasp the concept that they aren't super-man and can't take two DG's simultaniously. It almost NEVER works, no matter how strong you are. Their resulting deaths end up paying multiple DG's for their single death.

hehe... you mean trying the same thing over and over won't have different, favorable results?  Yeah... i don't fathom the 3 dgs are there and I'm alone... guess I should attack all them of them mentality.  Oh well... gotta learn how to play somewhere.  Sorry it was in your game lately :(

Todays feeder noobs are 2morros community, help them out with advice. think to yourself, well i have lost this game anyway and i may as well pass on some good advice to help people stick around....

Except for the feeders which think they are awesome and its your fault for their deaths. flame away ;)

I try to get new players to stick near friendly towers.

The problem with feeders or "noobs" is that THEY ARE FUCKING DUMB. I don't want to boast but in 20 games or so I pretty much grasped the basics of the game. And I listened to my teammates.

Pretty much all feeders have some problem reading. Seriously I dont understand how their mind works but telling them helpfull things is almost never useful. They are DUMB and are dyslectic.

ya but don't call someone a feeder if you are fighting a good team cause they can easily gank someone even if they know what they are doing.

This.

I have played some guys who had their first game online, and while they were pretty noobish, they DID learn and adjust as they went, and they listened when I warned them to never take on multiple DG's at the same time. Those are the good noobs, the kind that learn and adjust. The bad noobs are the ones that refuse to learn or change their tactics, and then end up causing you to lose because of them being stupid/stubborn (take your pick). Those are the ones that infuriate me to nerd rage. :D

Honestly, I didn't even start playing online until I could beat nightmare consistently.  I was worried I would be terrible and lose all the time, so I at least tried to learn the game before playing online. That, IMO, is the point of the single player.

Unfortuantely, single player doesn't help with a lot of things, especially things that most good players consider common sense. For example, you can win single player even if you don't cap the gold flag on cata, buy plate visor, buy gauntlets of brutality, chase into towers, and even go 3v1, but online all of that can be a death sentence special circumstances excluded.

Yeah, some good players become feeders every once inawhile... you should at least give them the benefit of the doubt until they've done the same thing in 2-3 games.

Bad things happen sometimes. ;)

eg: I want to try a build with torch bearer... oh look it's Lordi17's cloak of the night oak... 7 deaths later and I can imagine my team mate it ready to strangle me.

It went something like this.

"Fireball!" (oak shield)
"hmmm... Ring if Fi..." (penitence interrupt)
Umm.... "Run!"
Warps in and puts his axe in the back of my head.
Well shit.

Guy had the patience of Yoda.
"Dude, you need to do something about your build man"

"I'm not a TB usually,  sorry for learning what not to do on your time."

:D

There's also the "Bro, you really need to lock the ports end game when you are playing Dominate on Zig"

You look at your inventory and see a lock, then look back on your desk to the 6 empty supecans. Do you fess up?

Hell no... "Sorry, my mistake man, I cost us the game but I will learn."

It is fun winning a game when one of your partners doesn't know how to play though. You work so hard to save him and it actually pays off with a few kills for you.
