When will this game be more than 2v2

The way I see it, the best potential this game has to become awesome is to have a good statistic tracking system. Ragequitters ruined DOTA games, and were made possible becuase there was no way to track stats for the game.
2v2 demigod games are rarely fun. I'm guessing 5v5 games are a blast (just like dota). However, when I play pantheon I'm only (sometimes) able to play 2v2 games.
So we either have the choice of trying to play a custom game bigger than 2v2, which doesn't track stats, and thus is totally suspetable to ragequitters ruining good games, or playing pantheon and have little fun playing a 2v2 stat tracked (if the pantheon actually worked/recorded records) game.
How long is it going to take to get to a point where I can click a pantheon game, have it tracked, have favor points work, and play a game larger than 2v2 at least 50% of the time? I don't want an answer about a NAT facilitator, or a proxy director or rerouting the subnet through friendster. I'm not a comptuer program and don't know how any of that stuff works. I bought a game 7 weeks after release and it doesn't work.
Don't tell me to return my game, I didn't save my receipt becuase I expected SD to make this game work--lesson learned.
I just want to know, reasonably, realistically how long its going to take to impliment this "feature" of working like it should.
