So, whats up for demigod ? Population, skill level, community...

Hey everyone. I was just wondering and wanted to know what you think about this. I personally play since the release of DG, multiple hours a day, and sometimes more, and I just wanted to know how you guys think the community will or not grow. Checking now, I see 350 players online. Thats, I mean, fucking empty, dont you think so ? I love the game and so (even is there is plenty of annoying bugs but it goes on a better way), but got the feeling of playing against the same guys, everytime and more.

And btw, is the retail version on sale ?

Well, your turn to talk and to tell me what your feelings are.

Whenever they release a completely stable version of this game, the population will grow.  Until then, however, I'm NOT on board :(

I want to play this game, but the hassles are far too weighted.

I have bought the game fairly recently, the new patch seemed to make it more glitchy, unit abilities, pathing, getting stuck on side and corners all made worse. It just seems to me like they did not play the new patch at all before releaseing it. 1 game! 1 damn game was all it took me to realise that things were not as fluid as they were before, how did none of them pick up on this?

Also i feel they need to concentrare on other things than updating the damn AI, no matter how good you make it humans will still cruch it unless it cheats, forget about it untill every else is working smoothly.

I think i have had the game for 10 days, i will take quite an impressive patch in the next 15 days to make me not ask for a refund.

Atm i would rather £18 than this game, it's a shame as it could be quite good.

As for the future of the game... I think it is screwed the damge has already been done, mayb if they rereleased it with more Demigods/items etc with a better online service they could turn it around. All they will do is try to fix what they ahve got tho. :/

P.S. Does anyone know why they went to stardock? It's not as if GPG are unable to make a good reliable online service just like they did with SupCom.

i know me and my buddies are done playing for a while. its dissappointing to see such a great game flop. ranked matchmaking for teams--replays--all standard on release imo.

I'm sticking with it. I love the game. Skirmish connectivity sucks. However, the game is awesome and custom matches are a ball. I am putting my trust in GPG and Stardock that these problems will be corrected. I have already received more joy from this game than any other in years.

this game will be wonderful if it's well fixed, now the community is very small,300 players online are very few, that should be 1000-2000,but this is because the game is f.. up!i have a lot of friends who dont wanna buy this game because it's full of bugs...so why dont u fix it faster or it will be forgoten...?

What's the magic number for a community?? 350 players means 349 players for me to test my skills against, that's going to take a fair while to do.
