Omg Regulus is DGs owner...

I saw many posts about how people avoid playing Regulus and insted prefare Rook Oak the Vempire or the mage (or UB)
but i must admit.. Mines + Mark + Sniper = any enemy DG death
i just finished few 1vs 1 games with Regulus and as a pvp he just own
generals always loose all thair minions after 1 mine drop in the middle of the battle + damage to DG
then you throw a Mark on him and blast him with your angelic fury (or whatever it called)
and then to finish him (when he flees or start teleporting) you snipe him and boom hes dead..

Probbly all the more expiriances players already know it
but i must admit, Regulus is a quiet rear DG online, shame many new players avoid using him
(is it me or UB and Rook are the top most played DGs?)

I like to use him in two ways:

1)  Pick off running demigods (of course)

2)  Assist other demigods in getting kills.   This is my favorite tactic.  I sit back waiting for an ally demigod to deal out some damage, then I snipe the enemy demigod when I know I can get it low enough for my ally to wreck him in one or two hits.  I usually cast mark once or twice to aid in the damage.

I tend to use movement and mana items with him.  There's something innately fun about chasing fleeing enemies.  You ever see Full Metal Jacket?

regulus was made to kill demigods, hence for snipe. but in a close combat 1v1 or even against a skilled tb(mage/torchbearer) regulus can fairly easily be beaten. i dont really get the point of this, are you saying regulus is good at killing demigods or that hes unbalanced. and mines+mark+snipe =/= any enemy dg death... there all skills which can be beaten. like mines, u avoid them, cancel the skill ur casting and move, not to hard, mark u cant do much about apart from use a hp pot, and snipe u can move closer to stop it from doing more damage (unless ur about to die)

I was just making a comparison.  I guess most people who play Regulus are European and don't use english as their primary language.

So the only intelligent people in the world are native English speakers?

Anyway, yes: Regulus is powerful and is a DG killing machine, but he has little durability. He will fall to TB's range attacks or to UB's superior speed.  QoT and Erebus can outlast him if they are well-played. Though he has powerful attacks, he is hardly almighty.
