What is Your Most Frustrating Moment so Far?

Today, I hosted a mtach, everyone got in, and we started up. My teammate didn't want to talk apparently. So when I asked wtf he was doing, no reply(he basically was running towards capped flags, trying to sneak behind the first towers in Crucible and the match just started). So he continues to do dumb stuff. I get increasingly angry and eventually I just start cursing at him in chat, but to all, so the other team can see my pain. I then proclaim I am going to quit. The enemies begged me not too, and I felt bad, so I did not. Then my ally in his infinite wisdom basically would run past enemies while being attacked to grab flags. Then he basically sat and died to UB. At this point im cursing in chat again and my ally finally speaks: Something to the extent, chill, this is only my 2nd match

WTF is he doing online? I hate when people grab a game and go suck at it and ruin it for others because they didn't want to try campaign.

I then quit.

He might have been a noob, he might have been intentionally feeding. Feeding is inexcusable. Being a noob can be. If you're a noob and willing to listen and learn I can work with you. If you don't want to you're useless.

Most agrivating moment is when my hero stops for no god damn reason. Just sits there not willing to attack or anything. Lastnight my hero froze up and refused to even move. Good thing I had a scroll on me so I TPed to base and he woke up. If I didn't i'd be completely screwed.

Just do your best and get on with another game.  No point in cursing in a game.  If you get to that point, its no longer a game, your taking it too seriously.

Now I'm one of those people that absolutely HATES to lose.  I can't stand it.  I think its just a part of American nature to be the best at what you are doing.  Competition is everything.  But sometimes you gotta sit back and think, is there a point to getting frustrated?  In the end, this game is meaningless, you accomplish nothing in real life from this game but to waste some time for entertainment, anything you do now with a game will not progress you further in life unless it is somehow in your business model :P.

Whats the difference between him "sucking" and you "Quiting". It sounds like a custom game, no big deal. It sounds like you gots skill and instead of pickin up the slack you quit and lost, so it shows that you only wanna win but lost, but wanna blame the lesser player.    I'm not the best and make mis-judgements in-game but when ppl just up and quit shows a lack of character IMO.   Thats why I stopped playin WC3, ppl would diagnose a game from the first 5 min and just quit a game that took 15-20 min to fill lol.  If ppl are that good to see the outcome then they should be able to turn the tide of the game.

I've been playin the single plyr stuff but thats different than against ppl, ya learn more from humans than comp. But he shoulda listened too but cussin someone out doesnt really show that you are tryin to teach, it shows humiliation. Be the bigger person and chill(hehe). Im not tryin to flame your thread but quitin ppl will ruin and dimminish the game.

Make your games called "pros only"  lol

This is why I quit, unannounced, when I get allies who don't talk. It's better for everyone that way. I get less frustrated and save time on an autolose, and my opponents get a faster win by fighting an incompetent AI instead of a human.

i disagree with quitting. if a game is gonna last 30 mins to an hour to maybe play(2v2 takes long), im not gonna sit there and lose from the get go because my ally has no idea waht to do and doesn;t want to learn. its a waste of time. if matches were 10 minutes and it took 1 to get in, sure, but not now

I play the healer/catlady; I'm usually busy running from death, or running back to heal allies.  The few times I stoped to type, people died.  I type plenty if I die, it's the perfect time to communicate.  The person may not read/write english (many that can speak it can't read it).  It may have been a noob who could barely keep up with whats going on.  As for the chat, it flashes so fast, it's almost impossible to see somtimes, then you have to hit "Enter" and speed-read.  Or it could be a bot.  I was the only hunam on a team of bots once, and I had NO idea till one of the enemy players told me.

Think about it, you might be getting "heart-attack angry" at bots who don't even know you exist :D

Well, it happens, everybody has his first few games, and not all are good at first. Though, it is pretty frustrating. I had a similar experience in a game. I think it was a a 2v2, not sure now. It was on Prison anyway. My teammate was playing a Rook. And apparently he took Rook's awesomeness pretty seriously, as he fearlessly charged against enemies regardless of health, even when alone against two. And died. A lot. And when he didn't find enemy demigods, he just went straight for their towers and stayed on them until, yes, he died.

I tried asking him few times what is he doing. No answer. I played as QoT and tried shielding him.. well, shield has, what,  7 seconds cooldown and I only have so much mana. He died more. Sometimes he managed to Hammer Slam before dying, it was a happy moment every for me every time. Eeh.. anyway, by the end of the game Rook had more than 20 deaths, and it wasn't a long game. He actually managed to destroy few of their towers, too.

The frustrating part was about the first 10 times Rook died or so. After that, luckily the other team wasn't totally mute, so it wasn't all that bad. And it certainly was a challenge. Too bad we lost, dunno why :D

Once... I was pwning n00b ass in Custom... and the game crashed. 8C
I wuz liek: "NNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!"

And the n00bs... you don't really meet extreme ones in Custom 2v2. All of them can't configure their router to connect, and the ones who do are all playing 5v5. Hey, who said multiplayer issues are all bad?

Or it could be a bot.  I was the only hunam on a team of bots once, and I had NO idea till one of the enemy players told me.
