Online features that need to be addressed--

Please post what you feel like.  As there really is not a topic geared towards this, would be nice to have.  Whatever Stardock is fixing that is great, but there are still things being left out and can be quite important.  I have quite a fast computer, internet, and everything up to date, so I highly doubt most of these are me if it is of technical aspect.

Menus lag when you cancel out or click them for 5-10 seconds if not more.

Auto-refresh the game lobby.  Whos great idea was this? You could just login to the lobby and scroll the bottom list of games and all of a sudden here comes a big lag spike because it is already refreshing.  Then when you find a game to join it fails to connect, then it auto-refreshes with lag again.

What is with the refresh button anyways?  Why does the button hate everything so much it takes so long to refresh the list?

Please create more than one lobby, I posted this in my review of the game a few months ago.  I honestly do not know why Stardock did not do this.  Most games I see are EU or German and it could have easily been handled like C&C Generals menus.  They had 1v1 lobby, 2v2, 3v3, etc, as well as by region.

Please allow the sorting of games by catagory, map, and name.

Please allow us to input the game name we would like to join.

Why is there no "join friends game" button?  Right now, chat is pretty pointless if you only play with a friend and talk on vent.  Or if you talk over chat, relaying that message can be laggy.  By the time he finds the game it could be full.

Speaking of Voice, is this going to be implemented or not?

Is the issue of sudden lag spikes in-game and a player leaving to be replaced by an AI going to be addressed?  My friend and I were playing two computers and both of us have good connections, we noticed a sudden frozen spike at the same time for about 10 seconds.  Afterwards, it had kicked both of us, though still in the game we were replaced by AI's on each others computers.  Happened the other night as well against real players.

While my friend and I enjoy playing the game, a lot of things are not due to pirates or can not be excused by any other reason.  They are basic features that should have been implemented from the get-go.  I am glad Stardock is taking care of problems, but I am afraid if they do not take care of certain ones aside from the technical side they can still lose a ton of potential players.  I am also glad they realize the problems and talk to the community.  Becuase the game is pretty heavily based around online play of course, I hope others share some of these same ideas.

These issues are so extremely annoying, at peak hours they go from frustrating to unplayable. Agree with everything although what im quoting should be first priority

My buttons especially for the internet game sometimes lag 30 seconds to a full minute. It's really irritating and I have no idea what causes this, since sometimes they work instantly.

I have been wondering what causes it as well^^.  Makes me wonder what is such a hassle to refresh a simple list of games.

It's because they thought they could get away with this server for all the connections since its a p2p game.

It has more to do with having 100,000 pirates trying to use the same severs we're using (even if the pirates connections get rejected, it still takes the server time and effort to deal with them).

This topic has nothing to do with pirates and I do not mean for it to be.  I know they are trying to deal with it and that is fine, but there is still more at hand to discuss and they need to know what needs to be implemented.
