Having a issue with GalaxyForge

I created a Map call Big Blue a long time ago, then upgrade it to V2, everything worked great. I just Download GF 3 and when I open my map it is blank, nothing is inside of it??

I tested the same map using GF 1 and 1.1 everything works good. Any idea's do I need some sort of convertor before GF 3 will work??

Anyone know when the update will be out?? I really want to update this map. It is a great map and speed the game up a bit hehe economy wise. Sins has a slow and dreadful economy. I have a new Idea now after having a LAN party, I think I have a new method that will speed things up a bit more I think

o it seems they did update the converter without my knowing. which is also an amazing movie, by the way

..........except the links go to a mod, not the converter......

yes I did update the converter which I wrote because I did not want to lose maps that I had created, & I then offered it to blair & he accepted, but I have been updateing as I find out about problems.

I am in the process of making the updater correctly update version 0,1 & 2 maps to version 3.

at present it correctly converts version 1 & 2 maps but not version 0

re supplying the links

1.18

1.19

This is the Link to Big Blue, what are the odds of you converting it to work with Forge3 for me, I have tried the updaters but it is not working. I have read the instruction just not working for me

can you Email me the converted map please at krogothca@yahoo.ca

I really want to get this map working again

Thanks in advance

krogothcad I emailed but it bounced so I uploaded to my filefront the new zip that I ran my v2 map updater over.

krogothcad,

I am going to star on a sins map verifyer program so that such problems cam be found a bit quicker. it micht be duplicate planet names, but untill I get a rough version running I will not know

I also tried to load the original v1 map into galaxyforge 1.05 ok then saved it under a different name, with the same crash, I then created 4 similar maps in 1.01,1.05,1.10 & 3,the maps from 1.01 1.1 & 3 loaded in 3 but the 1.05  crashed,

I found the problem it is a missing space  in the planetArtifactDensity line before the number.I have just fixed the newstruct1.txt file so this will not happen in future

and am about to upload the corrected versions

Ok, I got it work, made my changes and it pops up perfect in regular Sins, it won't show yet in Sins of a Solar Empire - Entrenchment. not sure if Galaxyforge3 can do Entrenchment yet?

Thanks for you help, now I am just waiting for Galaxy Forge to catch up hehehe

krogothcad I have loaded your map into entrenchment from the galaxyforge folder next to mods & entrenchment mods 1.02. I actually used entrenchment with debug true to find what the problem was in the map
