Full stats and information about units.

Hi

There are some things that bother me really in DG and i didnt find a post covering these issues:

A: I really would like to be able to see the stats and items, (not the skills learned) of all DG in the game, also the enemies, as well as the stats of the creeps/minions.

B: The current design of the HUD is a bit too fixed i think. E.g. for the Generals, it would be better to control the minions as in common RTS-games: I select them and can see their healthbars and eventually their stats in the HUD. AtM it is always the DG that is selected. And although i understand that the devs wanted to minimize the micro-effort, I dont like the way the minions are controlled. When ported, they will always port to the DG, or when i move the DG, they will follow some steps behind him. What if i want them to hold position or to fight at another point on the map?

I agree.  I find myself playing generals like little assasins with fancy toys, mostly because minion control is frustrating. Im not one for a click fest, but for the general to be enjoyable to play I think a higher control of minions is needed.  I want to be able to have my minitour kings sneek behind someone and cut off their escape, not the everpresent general tripping over them ruining an escape of my own.  Brilliant concept, and it works, now it needs to be user friendly and fun.

We don't have the entire stat database updated yet at GR but the units index should be useable.  Unfortunately the information isn't available in-game.

I think you can control the minions separately from the General though, it just takes a little messing around to make sure the General isn't selected too.

Well a stats database isn't what im talking about. Since the stats can change during a game cause of skills and items, I'd like to be able to look at my enemies Hitpoints (in numbers, not the bar) or to check what damage he does, what is his movementspeed, his armor, etc...  and his manapool!!!

Yes of course it works, but it is really difficult and annoying. It could be a lot easier.
