Windows Blinds Transparency Issue + DeskScape confusion

So I just bought Windows Blinds for my new computer running Vista 62-bit, it seemed to install perfectly and actually run (though I didn't change my skin) but prompted me to restart to complete the install, so I did, but once I had rebotted it said that it couldn't complete it, likely because something was blocking it. So I have disabled AVG anti-virus (or the resident-sheild) segment of it along with WIndows Defender and rebooted several times, but each time I get the same message whenever I try to run the program. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I have Spybot Search & Destory, but I can't quite figure out how to disable it, though I've never had problems with a Spyware scanner blocking my installations before so I'm sure it's fine.

After half an hour of rebooting and likely being the cause of someones blog getting all their images turning into "bandwidth exceeded" I have succeeded in fixed the problem. However, a new one has appeared, though not nearly as devastating as the last. My applied skins that are transparent and have a transparency setting are solid, I can't see through them at all. Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but is there a fix that someone would know of?

EDIT: I'm also trying to set an animated wallpaper after installing DeskScapes, but whenever I try to set one as a background it tells me that the Desktop Window Manager needs to be running, what on earth is this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Whats your overall Windows Experience Index score?  Specifically, check your graphics scores.  If you don't have at least a 2 on the overall score, you won't be able to have any transparency.

I've got a 5.9 . Unfortunately when I opened the window it said 1.0 (which scared me considering my system specs) but I refreshed it and it banged up and turned on the transparency. Everything's working fine now! Even a problem with my alt+tab display that I forgot to mention was fixed, thanks for the help!
