Name of the warrior like caste of the tec

Hey ALL SoaSE lovers out in the cyber/blue yonder.  I am tryin to write a fanfic (reusing/updating an old idea i know will fit beautifully in here) and i am at an impasse.  I know i read somewhere, either pdf, web, or forum that when the vasari or advent came it fell to the warlike or stronger ****** to take the reins and fight the enemies.  Would ya'll happen to know the name?  Also besides Naeve is there any other great place of importance?  Are there other aliens in Trader Worlds or are they just all humans?  I know i am not making sense but i want to be as authentic and great with the story as possible and make it an ongoing thing.  Any info would be greatly appreciated :congrat:

Given your sig I don't have very much faith in this anyway (when did we get sigs, anyway? I don't see anything in options), but I imagine there is no "caste" of "military" or "warlike" TEC because they hadn't had war in a hell of a long time. You're probably remembering wrong.

The TEC (Trader Emergency Coalition) *IS* the 'warrior caste'. The entire game takes place in Trader space, and the planetary defenders that you mop up are planetary guard. The TEC comes up and annexes and assumes control of the whole planet, which is why theyr'e not too happy that you're bouncing in.

the only thing i can think of was a gouvermental fraction within the TEC, the Ishendi, that have been mentioned in another threat in this forum...

Thats the one Thyalin. I couldnt remember where i either heard or read it. Now if only i can find some info on different factions within the Vasari (beside the Verr) and Advent (could use the Silent Ones and make them an assassin caste)
