Mac Game possibility?

Hey Everyone!!

Now I know this will be alot of work, but is there a possibility of creating a mac version for this game?  I know how much coding work it will take, but I think it will really broaden the sale horizons, and many of my "mac" friends have expressed their desire to buy this game if there is a compatible version.

Also, there are very few competent mac games on the market right now, and considering this game's current success, I think it would attract the vast majority of mac gamers (there are quite a few!)

Please let me know,

Onyx

yeah buy a real computer. macs only good for work. whilst a real pc is good for everything. most people who buy a mac use it for work. they rnt gamers. imo macs suck.

Just get leapord and use boot camp. I have a mac (and an Alienware PC), and i use Vista to run things like TF2 and Sins.

Just remind them that they bought the wrong operating system. If they'd like to play, they can buy a real computer. Not a Fisher Price style system.

"Games for Windows" specifically requires that games not be compatible with competing operating systems, including your Mac. Send Steve Jobs an email and try to get him to create a "Games for Mac" program. I'm sure a lot of people would love to see the game become available on Linux in particular, but that's not going to happen either. Microsoft throws money behind making PC games exclusive to Windows. They wouldn't want to actually compete with other operating systems now would they? :P

Try virtualization programs or bootcamp to be able to play this game on your Mac.

well what you said is not the whole thing. windows offers directx, which is an extremly well made and fast interface for developing computer games. Opengl seems to be in hibernation somehow... So the truth is, microsoft is the only company out there, that puts money into offering game developing companies an up to date platform, for creating their games. So it's not "games for mac" or anything, it's just that "games for windows" is the only thing really being developed right now.

excuse me? wow. I hate macs, but that is oversimplification. No there is not a mac exclusively for gaming, but if you pay enough ;-) you can get a decent graphics card.
