Level of Configurability

In Setting Up Games

In a singleplayer game, currently, you can set which races or AI players to play against and which level of difficulty (Easy, Medium, and Hard). However, there's no real explanation of what these difficulty levels actually represent. Level of economy, agressiveness, build speed, etc... I'm assuming the release version will most likely define these better.

But in terms of setting up our singleplayer (and multiplayer I suppose, altho I don't play multi-player) games, what's the level of configurability? For example, setting up a custom game in Galactic Civ 2, the player has control of and can set almost every level and attribute of their opponents. Granted, SINS probably doesn't have all of the features of GC2, but should still offer a great deal of settings and options for the games, no? What can we expect?

Regarding enemy players you can set their difficulty, logo, color, team and faction in-game. You can configure a lot more about them using the Galaxy Forge offline tool. Regarding maps, you have countless setup options using the in-game Map Designer or the even more powerful Galaxy Forge.

It's one of the tools we'll be releasing. I don't think I've ever mentionned it.

will we be able to design custom race logos?
End of quote

Its easy to edit the race logos texture file if you would like to add your own race logos. You'll need to share this with other players of course. The logo should be designed in greyscale so it can take on any player color. There are 4 or so sizes.
