Posting screen shots

yes, its being asked AGAIN.

I know this has been asked before, a number of times, but i couldnt find the thread AND i believe that the site for imageshack.com is different that it was before.

So, how can i post a screen shot in to a thread?

That's because it's imageshack.us, not imageshack.com :)

Just upload your image there, then get the 'direct link to image' line from the after-upload page. Click the 'insert image' button in the reply box here when making your post, and copy/paste that line from imageshack into it.

A nagging question that I have had concerning screenshots: If GCII doesn't support taking screenshots from within the game then why is there an option for the screenshot format in the options screen?
Every thread that I have seen on screenshots states somewhere that you must use a 3rd party program for getting screenshots. (FRAPS is the most commonly suggested.) I'm confused!

It does support taking screenies from within the game. Simply press CTRL+PRT SCRN (may be SHIFT i cant remember which as i dont use it LOL) and a screenie is saved in the screenshots folder in 'My Docs/My Games/GCII/TA'.

Before the inclusion of the screenie option th eonly way to get screenies was to use a third party program so that is why people still refer to them i guess.

I think taking screen shots from within games is relatively new... maybe with the latest DA update.

well if the ability to take screenies in-game is there, it sure doesn't tell you how to do it.
