Lord Kona vs Darth Vader vs Kane

Who would win in a battle between Lord Kona, Darth Vader and Kane.
I think that Kane would win, because no matter what you do we just won't stop attacking an enemy.

Kane wins since he has a bobblehead.

Seriously.

Now, if Lord Kona had a bobblehead...

I'd have to say Kane. While Vader may be unstoppable in personal combat an Kona may have the superior weapons, Kane can be downright cunning and treacherous when it comes to manipulation and strategy. That, and the Brotherhood of Nod (the organization he controls) is one damn sneaky faction who would be able to play one enemy off another quite easily.

While the others arguably might beat The Empire in a war, Vader himself wouldn't actually die. The only thing that can kill Vader is Vader. He would eventually be forced (Haha, get it? nevermind) into personally hunting down Kane and Lord Kona. Assuming they knew where he was, they could just fly away from his location, but eventually they'd mess up, and Vader would choke a b**ch. But in any case, neither Kane (from what I've played, haven't seen the new one) nor Lord Kona can match the speed of Vader's ships. You know how you put five times as many engines on your ships than the AI does in GalCiv2? That's Vader, running circles around Lord Kona and Kane. If he had to, he could guerrilla them into submission.

Why don't we just assume they're all roughly equal in capability? That way, us nerds will have a lot more fun imagining the space battles, writing fan fiction, or whatever floats your boat.

I don't know... I never found Kane to anything other than a laughably done caricature of a villain. I would go with Vader FTW.

Wouldn't Kona have HyperWarp III?

Assuming its at the time of CNC3, Kona would win. Nothing can stop their terror stars and their ships would have black hole guns and zero point armor. Vader would not be able to get to Kona. But if its after CNC3, where Kane has the secrets of tiberium and the scrin tower, he would recruit the Scrin and kill everyone with Tiberium weapons.

My vote's for Gandalf the Grey and Gandalf the White, and Montey Python and the Holy Grail's Black Knight...

That's definately a good idea, because as it is in the C&C universe so far Kane has no capability to go into space... yet (though the GDI definately do).

KANE LIVES! (The C&C one ofc)

I even had a poster of Kane holding the world between his hands hanging on the wall some time ago. He looks so evil

Vader.

Kona may have the numbers, but IMO lacks tactical finesse. Kane may have the finesse, but lacks numbers and technology. Both would probably put up quite a fight, though. Kona with his ferocious Drengin, Kane with ground based guerilla warfare. Vader may be able to glass one or two planets, but not every single one. So it's down to attrition, which puts Vader in front against Kane.

Now, if you had asked "Kona, Kane or Grand Admiral Thrawn"... it wouldn't have even been question.

Go Kane!

Imagine if they worked together to destroy their enemies!

Don't forget Krindar i'Agohl! He has Spore. That's better than even the Death Star, and more convenient.

Hi!
Who would win in a battle between Lord Kona, Darth Vader and Kane.

Me.

I kicked their asses in way too many games to have respect for any of them.

Well Kona could build a Terror Star and that blows a sun in pieces, while the Deathstar just destroyes planets. But all in all the Empire ruled almost over a whole Galaxy, so they definitly have more colonies than the Drengin Empire. It would depend on what weapons the Drengin have already researched.

Well, the Empire also had a sun destroying weapon, the Sun Crusher. It was about the size of a shuttle, and was indestructable. Just it was destroyed in a black hole. But if the Empire would build a new one... Well, then I wouldn't put my money neighter on Kona, nor Kane.

I gotta go with Hello Kitty.

I'm going to have to go with Kane because he's immortal, and no amount of "Force" or Jedi kung-fu is going to kill him. Vader is a fruity cape-wearing pansy next to him.

Also he's good-looking...bald is beautiful.

Only one kind of a person would say that... that must mean... YOU'RE BALD!

Oh dear God, I don't want to imagine how much of a one-sided battle that would be for Thrawn...

This is an interesting and funny thread.

Okay, you have to look at the strengths and weaknesses of each side (and their commander).

Lord Kona is an exetremely smart leader and tactictian, and the Drengin Empire has a very high level of technology and ships. They also have the production to easily replace destroyed ships. So, even though they are smaller the Galactic Empire, the Galactic Empire would have to go through countless ships to reach Drengi. On the other hand the Drengin Empire is prone to power struggles (see Dark Avatar), which could leave them vulnerable.

Darth Vader is an extremely powerful Sith Lord. He is always practicing his fighting and force techniques, while the Emperor sits in his palace doing nothing except being parinoid. He, along with the Galactic Empire is very intimdating. He has the biggest ships (Super Star Destroyers) and the Death Star. However, the Empire is always being bothered by the Rebel Alliance. An originally ragtag group, the Alliance becomes a powerful and organized group by Return of the Jedi. So, the Galactic Empire would have to fight an internal war as well. The last thing is that Darth Vader can't be everywhere at once. Sure, his Super Star Destroyer fleet could win major battles, but otherwise, the Empire could lose. Another thingis that the commanding officers of the Empire are one word: incompetent. They make tons of mistakes. Usually that makes Vader choke them to death, but whatever. The Empire is also to big to properly defend. Vader would have to send his fleet to constantly running around to defend key installations and planets, leaving other places vulnerable.

Kane and the Brotherhood of Nod would be interesting. Kane is a one determined immortal. By the time Nod colonizes other star systems, the Galactic and Drengin Empires would be dominating most star systems. However, Kane would contact the Scrin, convince them that the war between them and Nod was a big misunderstanding. They would then knock GDI to the ground, and start colonizing planets. A thing about the planets, they would be covered in Tiberium. Any unprotected army would killed immediatly by Tiberium's radiatiion (Nod and Scrin would be immune by this time). This will make it difficult to attack Nod. Nod also doesn't worry about defending a lot of planets, allowing Kane to build each planet up into a powerful fortress. However, if the Galactic and Drengin Empires research a way to completely destroy Tiberium (very difficult), and get past the defenses, Nod would be destroyed quickly since it's territory is so small. Even Kane's very determined army would be worn down.

Now, lets say these factions would all declare war on each other. Who would win? The Drengin Empire, that's who. All it takes to defeat the Galactic Empire is to ally with the Rebels (Either faction could do this). Give the Rebels good ships, and they will sneak attack the Empire to death. Vader could be shot down in his personal shuttle, or an A-Wing could crash through the bridge of Vader's personal Super Star Destroyer, the Executor. With Vader gone, the Empire would crumble. To defeat Nod, Lord Kona would simply oder the construction of Terror Stars. They would destroy all of Nod's Tiberium infested system with these weapons, avoiding direct invasion. Not even Kane could survive a supernova.

The Drengin would stand victorius. That is, until Thrawn or the Torians come around...

Etrius

Whew! That was a lot of typing!
