Ok heres what i want... whos with me?

I would like and be most happy for a future update / expansion of this game to have a way of finding stuff. ok let me be a bit more specific, i would like to be able to do a search or even pull up a screen under foreign relations somewhere so that i can locate all one-of-a-kind structures. That is all wonders, a table that tells me what planets they are on. And all the various types of capitals for each civ.

This information is not classified, but double clicking each planet looking for a good place to put a spy , or deciding which planets to invade to get a certain wonder takes forever. And after i've conquored a few civs, I'd like to be able to remind myself where all my technology, economic and manufacturing capitals are.

Is this something thats doable?

It could probably look like something similar to your colony screen, where it has a list of the planets on the left, with structures, etc on the right

I most certainly support that.

In addition to the reasons that you have mentioned, remembering what race has built what wonder on what planet comes to mind. I can imagine situations where I would base my strategy on knowing exactly where a certain wonder is built.

A search feature like that would come in very handy, indeed.

The best part is that you don't even need espionage levels to know, because your told what planet its built on when it is built! (GNN news reports )

So I'd imagine that such a feature wouldn't be too difficult to implement. And it would be gladly recieved, I'd wager.

Icons on the appropriate planets in the planet/ship summary list would be the best place to implement this idea. Scroll down the list till you find a planet that has a Hyperion Shrinker then double click to jump straight there, very nice.

I imagined it to be two pages. One, a list with a wonder / trade good listed and the planet and owner next to it.

Then a separte list for each civ on the foreign relations screens, maybe a new tab. and a list with one colum showing one-of-a-kind improvments and the planet itrs on next to that. And a simlar one on our own colony list.

I also would like see the info available as details in Diplomancy or Civilization Manager rather than than as icons in the mini-list. Or at least in addition to the visible-over-the-map list.

But chugstar's post does make me think additional icons on the main map could make sense. We have planets flagged as empire capitals, but there's still room to flag them as "Super Project(s)" and "Galactic Achievement(s)."
