Unable to select a civ. other than Terran.

Hello. This is my first time posting and I have not been playing long. I tried searching the forums for info so forgive me if I didn't see it or in my newbiness missed it(hopefully spelled that right, assuming it is a word). I have DA with all updates and for some reason it is not possible for me to choose/be any civ. but Terran. Is there a reason for this?

Ok. Let me further modify that. When I go to the screen to select the number of civilizations in the game I am unable to change it from 8 and also have no ability to change my opponents either.....

You've got a scenario or custom map set. Just set both back to normal settings at the first page of new game creation.

Bingo. Thanks. Didn't even realize I had a scenario selected.... And here I was, worried about looking like a newbie....
