playing DA with crash to desktop

I like the game,been playing for 1 month now, but cant see myself sticking with it. Hate spending hours on a game and then it starts to crash to desktop every few moves, ive tried the different fixes ive read about even sent in debugg to tech support but nothing seems to fix the problem. i have actually finished 2 games while others just start crashing late in the game and make it impposible to finish, what a dissappointment. I've been playing beta 1.6 now but same thing.

Also with the beta version my ships dissapear when ocuppying the same sector when their not grouped together, i will have ships aroung in space that i have no ideal
exist cuase i cant see them?

Any new ideas out there?

This is a known issue with the new ship icon stacking in the 1.6 beta.

As to your crashes, have you been asked to send in SmartException reports? That is the most useful thing you can do to help the devs find and fix the cause.
