Hi I am new to the forums however after reading several aar's, I decided to write one myself, a game that I had finished for some time it is about a war of annihilation. I have finally gathered enough courage to do this so here it goes, I hope you like it, it is based on a game that I played for a long time ago when I just got it. the version is 1.0, the AI is set on normal and number of opponets is nine it is a custom civ and my political party is technologist and the galaxy is set to large

So please be patient with me it is a game I played for some time ago so their will be no screenshots but I do have some saved games left suprisingly. and I am still in the process of writing the prologue so here it goes. and one more thing the leader name is my real name if you ever wonder why.

Chapter 1
Prelude

Much has changed since we were last here, left after we transcended. When we came back, the races that we knew were gone. It seemed that a cataclysmic war had raged through out the galaxy by the surviving races, trying to control our worlds by the power vacuum we left behind. For last 5000 years we have been wandering the universe, exploring, settling, and showing younger races the way. However I am still tormented, scared by the war that had raged in our time as mortals, for I have seen the horrors that our civilization had been through, the death of so many of our citizens who gave their lives, so we could live like this, to live beyond mortality. Many have gotten past the war and told different versions of the war, but I will give you the correct version of it. Because it changed the galaxy, because I was the leader of the Bentusi Federation, Nicholas Olsen, and it changed the fate for our civilization. I remember the time when our first ships set out into the unknown, settled an empire, and made the fateful choise of leaving the U.P. to give freedom to my people. however that was met with a mixed opinion. We were what you would call a neutral civilization during our time in our fleshy state.


Be truthful the war started with the surrendering of the Yor collective. We intervened on their behalf and declared war against the Altarian republic, conquering two of their worlds that were important to the Altarians. after those were taken, we later signed a peace treaty with them. By then establishing that we were the most powerful civilization in the galaxy only second to us at that time was a minor race known as the Akillians, and an amniosity that would linger and come back to haunt us. Several months later we declared war against the Arcean empire that we easiliy won several worlds from them, and a minor race called the scottlingas whose world would soon prove to be a very valuable world of ours in the war.

We were the most advanced civilization but however due to financial mistakes our economy started to go into recession, and by that allowing the very ones that disliked us to get even on the technology of weapons and becoming more powerful. Our military by that time had shrunk because we were trying to replace the outdated vessels with more powerful versions at that time during our recession. However it would take longer time to do this and our military might sank low enough to give the very two civilizations a chance to regain their worlds back, and they took it.[/size][size="5"]
