Planetary bonus question

Ok say my homeworld has bonus to my farming ie 100%-300% and i plant a farm on it, now later in a game my popularity will start to drop buy then i have galactic stock markets and best moral buildings(VRC) there and it still decreases. What I am asking is whats the point then to having them... If i remove it and place a farm on a normal spot my moral on the planet jumps back up to 100%. Now i can see why you need more moral buildings to keep the bigger population happy but when i add so many of them and it doesnt work well can you guys do somethings about this thanks or explain to me how this really works. Its just annoying when my taxes are at 35-20%(i know about the lower tax bonuses when you play) and my moral should be at 100% but is a 99% when i have a few planets with lots of things to keep the population happen and it doesnt work and it slowly goes down turn by turn. this is also true a little bit more on homeworlds even with out a farm bonus too some times even with lots of research done in early to rarely in late games.

Not sure exactly what you are asking here, but your analysis of the interrelationships between morale, taxes, population, and morale buildings shows that you do understand how these play together. And that is one of the beauties of this game, you need to account for a lot of factors in managing your empire.

And yes, sometimes you will find a 100% or 300% farm bonus tile on a lower PQ world that you do not dare build a farm on or your population will explode to a point where your morale drops into the pits, even with lots of morale buildings. Again as the leader of your empire you need to use good judgement on when and where to build your farms.

The way the game is presently tuned, I believe that the 300% farming bonus is useless and I will not build farms on one unless I have it on a PQ>15 world and have some morale resources mined to give me great morale bonuses.

Back when the game was in beta and first came out, morale abilities were much more powerful, so that farming tiles had some usefulness. But things have been rebalanced since then, and morale ability has been nerfed a few times, so the farming bonus tiles have become increasingly more uesless (since they allow your population to grow to completely unmanageable levels).

So we have 100% and 300% bonuses for everything in the game except approval and influence. I could see how a 300% influence tile could be unbalanced, but a 300% approval tile would be good.

There are cases where using a 100% food tile makes sense. I never build my first farm on one though. If later in the game I decide I want a second farm, I'll build the farm on top of whatever I initially built on the 100% food tile, then I'll usually build a stock market on top of the original farm. In v1.2 when going for a high pop planet I would use a 300% food tile, but never in v1.31.
