Abundant Anomolie Issue

I started a game with Gigantic Galaxy and Abundant Anomolies. There are a LOT of them out there. I have accumulated a lot of improvements to Troops, Trade, Morale, Ship bonuses etc. My question is this:

Where can I see all these improvements listed in one place and are they still cumulative? Also does the AI get these same levels of improvements?

Thanks for any answers to these questions.

Civilisation manager -> Stats and graphs

They are cumulative

The AI gets the same bonuses, but they don't seem to be very aggressive at seeking them out.

Hmmm, I usually just set my single survey ship on auto-explore, which as near as I can tell is exactly what they do, so I don't see how they're "not very aggressive."

Anyway, anomalies are awesome and I suggest you get as many as you can, as they do indeed stack and the money bonuses help a lot.

Well I usually build 2 or 3 extra survey ships. All those little 1% bonuses can add up... and there's nothing like finding a 2500BCr treasure ship when you're 489BCr overdrawn and have a monthly deficit of -112BCr ;o)

Why would you set you suvey ship on auto explore?

Thanks for the answers gents.

I usually build 7-8 Survey ships for a Gigantic map, once I have decent sensor range (II) and at least Impulse drives. When I've surveyed the whole map, or the ships have completed their "Assigned areas", I convert them to have some weaponry and turn then into Privateers (or Wolfpacks) for rear area harrassment of future enemies, and get them into their proper zones of patrol. These Privateers try to steer clear of enemy Fleets, but are great for Recon, and catching unescorted Transports and Constructors.

It's more effective than doing it manually since the ship knows exactly where every anomaly is (and, unlike auto-explore, is actually somewhat efficient about finding them).

I suppose it might be a good idea to make my own survey ships, but I've never felt like researching Sensors early enough for it to matter.

Extra Survey ships should help you nab those high PQ planets before your opponents. They are not just for the Anomalies. The question I think is what to do with them after the exploration phase is over. In my case I don't scrap them, I upgrade them into cheap recon-hunter/killers.

Archon, I make the sensor tree and early priority, since Eyes Of The Universe is one of the most powerful wonders in the game.

Hey jfp3, i do the same even name em hunters -- the cargo hulls also upgrade to large hulls if you have the tech and will give em HPs -- if you keep a survey module on the upgrade it seems to keep the upgrade cost down too.

Eyes of the Universe is probably my favorite wonder, but I find that the AI puts building it as a very low priority, so I can get in some more urgent things before I make it. Granted it would be nice to have better vision earlier, but I'm not good enough at the game to be so efficient as to have extra ships that early anyway. I'm always in a rush to get colony ships or build new colonies and Diplomatic Translators.
