Logistics Craft?

Okay, Here’s basically the idea, create ship modules linked to the logistics tree that when mounted on ships, would increase the max logistics value of a particular fleet,
Basically it would probably be around the size of a transport module (so tiny ships couldn't mount these things) and add something like a 3 to 5% bonus to the max logistics of a fleet, this way you could throw a few on cargo ships in a fleet for the sole purpose of supporting more ships, or even mount one on a huge ship that would serve as the "Flagship" of a fleet.
Now if this seams unbalancing, remember this, if you have cargo ships with these modules, there going to be pretty easy targets for enemy fighters (1 of 1 hp), if something happens to cause the fleet to be over the max logistics, then the fleet should auto-disband, or worse, maybe ships are scuttled.
Using the same concept maybe let the ships give a bonus to max range as well, so there really more like Logistical craft we see in BSG, suddenly long range war fleets on huge maps have a BIG flying weak spot.
So what do you think is this possible?
