For all the hype and praise we fans are giving the game here, we sure aren't letting it be known outside of this community (and maybe penny-arcade, and of course apolyton.net).

For example, there's a grand total of 5 votes for GalCiv2 on Gamerankings.com. One of them's mine, and one of them's a 1.

Well, simply I am member of a few "hardcore" war strategy online gaming sites. (leagues)

Posting there some information about the game and discuss it online in the forums

Simply hoping that some other people therefore notice the game and pick it up.

Unfortunately we are looking mostly for TBS games which can be played MP. Its simply about competion,

Still, at least some people more will buy the game now. If I really like the game I although will write recommendations in Amazon etc.

Hah hah. Nobody listens to my suggestions about software anyway. I do have confidence that it will succeed on its own merits, though. GC did well enough to support GC2, and so on...

there is a point though i mean ive been playing on some sites which have some hard core old master of orion fans lot of them never even heard of GC.

Made a post about it on a Rome total war fansite I've been running for a good few years. A lot of older, more involved gamers in the Total War series. Hopefully some of them will take the plunge
