Silly question about ship design

When adding components to a ship for the sake of appearance, how do I get a component to "mirror" itself so that it appears the same on the left side and right side of a design? Right now, when I add a wing to the right side and the left side of the ship, they look different from one another because I can't get one of them to invert. I'm sure there's a simple key stroke for this, but I couldn't find it in the manaul.

No simple key stroke that I know of, the inverted part is usually a different extra.

I would also greatly appreciate the implementing of such a feature. Right now its hard to get the mirrored parts the same size. Actually if there was a numerical scale under the sizing slide that would also resolve the issue...
