Any GOOD Online Poker sites (play money)?

All in, all in, all in, all in, all in.

Whatonline poker sites would you recommend?

I have been jumping around over the years from site to site and I run into the same old boring kind of play. Anyone know of a site where people actually know how to play poker?

Be careful where you go in the poker sites. One of my employees was trying to buy plastic poker chips online and got an malicious hijacker that would re-route explorer each time it was opened, over wrote all his favorites and had about 10 process running all the time. It was replicating itself all over, even after stopping all the processes. I ended up having to do a format and total re-install to get rid of it.

The best one is Ultimate Bet. It's a professional site started by Phil Helmuth and Annie Duke. I play every day for real money. The problem with play money is the fact that it is play money. People will get on just to fool around. If people know how to play poker, they usually don't play for play money.

Too much cheating in real money for me. I just thought there might be some smaller sites where the idiots haven't found it yet.

Pokerstars.com IS the ultimate online site. It is highly endorsed by the WPT. Many WPT champs have gotten their start here. The software is very unobtrusive to your system as well.
Pokerstars has 2 versions. Pokerstars.net and Pokerstars.com. The .net version is striclty play money with a lot of features missing. The .com version will allow you to play for either play money or real money, plus it has many features which are nice.. ( player search etc..)

PartyPoker.com is nasty. It puts extra annoyances on your browser which stay there after you uninstall the software. Nuff said about that one.

GoldenPalace.com has a poker app that is fair.

Trust me on this one NT. I have been engrossed with this for some time now (have also been working on a poker WB). I know what I'm talking about on this.

Also note, as Gregory2001 said. People playing with play money chips do not play with any kind of logic, or reason. They figure wtf.. it's play money.. ALL-IN on a 7, 2.
I sometimes play for real money and people play much better there.

So, grab Pokerstars.com, then do a search for Phoon62. I will be happy to relieve you of your spoils most any evening.

None.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

To be a fool is to be a prat...or an idiot...or stupid...or broke.

Phoon! I'm gonna look you up! My name on Pokerstars is 'Hus_', and NT...listen to Phoon...Pokerstars is by far the best poker room I've tried...and I've tried them all! PokerRoom.com is also good if you're on the go, they have a Java client that doesn't require you to download anything...very well done too. Still PokerStars is the place to be...

Just search your registry for partypoker.com after you uninstall it. You will find the e-vile nasty remnants.

It would be alot of fun to get a wincustomize table going on somewhere.

Phoon, thanks for the tip. Party poker should be gone by midnight.

I like the idea of the java client.

Hope to see you around guys. Ill be NightTrain or something close.

I don't know anything about this site, but it's been advertised all over tv lately. ParadisePoker.com. Something about a free million dollar game.

PacificPoker.com or PokerStars, each of them have money games as well as "fake" money games. Those are the two that I'd recommend.

pogo.com has some poker games, too.

I found holdempoker.com and I really liked its setup. I originally played at yahoo for its hold em poker, but holdempoker.com is better IMHO. What I like is if you lose all your play money you can easily refresh it once daily. Other sites may do that I don't know, haven't looked into it. Of course if you need that you must suck at it since I have done very well the few times I've played.
I tried PartyPoker.com but I didn't like it. Its a separate app, not within the browser and just unruly to use and butt ugly.

www. fulltiltpoker.com - its run by many pro's including: Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Chris (Jesus) Ferguson, John Juanda, Jennifer Harman, Phil Gordon, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Clonie Gowen and Andy Bloch who often play online and in tournaments and are happy to answer questions. There are lots of playmoney games to play for fun, or practice for real money games

Okay, rather than start a new thread..
Lets assume Pokerstars.com is the program of choice.
What is your username, exactly on Pokerstars.COM (you can use the find a player feature in that)
Once we have that determined, maybe we can all get together on there soon.

My Username: Phoon62
