Buggy with Microsoft Teams

Clicking window in system tray restores and immediately minimizes

Hi, I'm having many issues using Groupy with Microsoft Teams. It works fine for a while but eventually if I minimize it to the taskbar, then click that window in the taskbar, it restores the window then immediately minimizes it again. I have to hover over the taskbar to show the Peek view of the window and click that to restore it. I wonder if it has to do with the fact that I have both my work teams and my personal teams accounts signed in; they both are in the group maybe that's throwing it off but it happens even if I don't have the personal one open and only the main work one...

I have a video if it would help, but don't want to share it here publicly. if you can give me a place to upload it or somewhere to share a private link to it on onedrive I'm happy send if it would help, as I love having my teams in groupy but it's really buggy and makes it impossible to use.

 

I also noticed (but can't always reproduce) that I cannot alt-tab to the window to restore it. I can alt-tab, see it, select it, but when I release to actually select it, nothing happens and it remains either in the background or minimized to the tray. If I'm able to reproduce this one again I'll record another video.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I can't reproduce this one. To make sure Groupy get properly install, first, please try, uninstall Groupy, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

If the issue still appear, we need more details.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Use Winver.exe.
  2. Groupy full version number.
  3. You said the issue appear eventually, how long or what steps do you do to make to issue appear?
