Hello everyone!
I've been doing a hobby translation of GalCiv3 into hungarian language for a while now. We did the same thing the first two GC games years ago.
However, all this updating and expansion has been a bit distracting. (this translation around 75%, considering ALL transatable files from all dlc and expansion)
If I have the full game and all the expansions on Steam, which files in the GC3Crusade/Mods/Hungarian/Text folder do I need to use to working with current, up-to-date data in the current version 4.53?
Because after all the base game contains 255 xml, Crusade 83, Intrigue 14 , Retribution 21 xml files for such a translation. However, Crusade has 34 files that "match" the base game files, Intrigue has 1 file and Retribution has 2 files, if I have compared them correctly.
Should I use the base game files and then replace them with the files from Crusade (exp2), then the Intrigue (exp3) file and the Retribution (exp3) files? So always the latest version of these files? For example, ImprovementText.xml and MasterTechDefsText.xml used in base game+Crusade+Retribution too.
You can see in the files that there are changes/modifications as well as new stuff in there. For example, if a decision gives +10% tourism instead of the older +20% tourism, the wrong translation will show up in the game because I used the old files.
The translation works without any problems apart from these (the base game and many dlc-expansion contents work fine in the translated state), I'm not asking for mod help, I'm just not fully aware of this file usage part.
Thanks in advance,
