[Bug] Cannot complete Galciv3 Altarian campaign - Korx defeat dialog looping

I've seen others have had this same bug over the past few years and the devs said they were going to fix it ... I'm working my way through the campaign and have been struck by this ... so frustrating ... does anyone know a solution?

OK I finally figured it out ... I just sat there and waited until the Altarians conquered the final planet on my behalf .... then the game let be finish the mission! Yusss ...
