The nazi insult

I've just being called a Kanker nazi by yoepnl. Because my play wasn' t good enough for that ubermensch. It' s very true that my play is poor. Nevertheless as poor is my understanding of any game. It is not a threat to the future of mankind. I'd rather be the worst player on earth and still being able to respect humanity rather than the contrary.

I guess that yoepnl is a kid with no education and very probably will stick with idea that nazism is some kind of friendly talk. But I'm appalled by the idea.

Since someone has already brought it up / suffered. I might as well:

1/ If you implement something like a chat channel, please immediately have word filters and ignore mechanism. Otherwise, thanks to the current sale, you might suffer from a lot of bad words flying around. Imagine a brand new player logging in to the middle of a flame war. That one quick way to gain bad reviews / impressions. Or a brand new player not finding what they expect starts throwing their bad review right into the chat channel instead of the Steam review.

2/ Have something like mute / ignore / filter in-game too. So if someone's too toxic you can actually react immediately instead of enduring it the entire match.

Yeah, those suggestions coming from me, someone who swears a lot, might be hard to take seriously. But, honestly, please do those things quickly.

I sympathise with you, too many people take matches too seriously online, though fortunately I've not suffered it in Ashes. Culture now seems to accept or look lightly upon people insulting others, without realising what they are really saying, how it reflects on them, or the weight of the slur and how it may affect the other person.

LoveIsAll makes good suggestions.
