[1.61] Precursor Hull Reinforcement has no mass/limitations

I'm upgrading my ship pictured below adding the Precursor Hull Reinforcement module to the ship.  This module has no mass to it and no limitations.  I can add this module an endless amount of times and keep increasing my hit points forever.  This has been around since the beta process and never has been fixed.  See pictures below.  The first picture note my ship has 811 mass used 1298.5 hit points and use of 5 modules, the second picture has the same mass with 1323 hit points and use of 6 of those modules.

Unfortunately this is not working as designed.  Not only does this make the ships too powerful balance-wise but its also has other unintended consequences in other systems.

EDIT

retested, only the Hull reinforcement is like that, sorry, I was confused.  They all have no mass though, but they are limited to 1 per ship, as is expected.

Oh well, there you go, just use one per ship, problem solved! (mostly)

It breaks the power graph though. Put one per ship of the fleetwide bonuses and your ships are so sick you go beyond 'max' power and down to 0 immed. Cue puny AI declaring war thinking you're 'ripe for conquest' and wiping themselves out (even though you were going for an alliance victory with them ;) )

The power graph can break pretty easily on a large map even WITHOUT using the precursor stuff. I had that happen in my most recent game. Kept going from most powerful to 0 and back up again every 10 ships I built...

well, there's a bug with "The Bane" that will be corrected in the next patch, but there may be other issues too.

But these things should come at a price.  I mean, they are über powerful, they don't use resources and they don't have mass.  Why would I not use them on my super tiny ships?  Why won't I use them on every single ship I build?

If it required a precursor relic starbase for each component, or some mass that make me choose between this and more weaponry... Well, it could be different.  Or maybe they could require basic resources, albeit more than one unit.  Say, 5 units of durantium for hull reinforcement (it needs to be tested for balance though).

Are you utilizing this in stand alone play or in test?  I have played in stand alone with 2 different  players (1 standard - 1 created : both Terran Tech). I have researched the BEYOND MORTALITY and the benefits (The Bane etc.) don't show up on my ship creation screens any ideas, help?  Thanks

You have to research ALL 3 assention techs for them to become available, beyond mortality is only one.  This actually makes little sense (imo), as once you have researched all three you are only a turn away for winning by construction the assention gate
