Could we randomise the type of map, please?

I am a random Player... Well, what I mean is I randomise EVERYTHING in the 4X games I play.

I love starting in worlds not having a clue what I`m going to come across... Will there be too many pirates? No pirates? Will I find lots of lovely planets or hardly any? Will I find lots of random loot or none? It may start bad for me easy- I welcome the challenges. I hate knowing what`s coming.

The more it`s random at start, the better. I wonder if I`m the only one who plays his games like this?

Anyway, I noticed I can`t randomise the TYPE of Galaxy. Could we have this as a random option also? Random map size would also be interesting, while you`re at it. Thanks in advance. :)

I like what you're suggesting. Except I sometimes have a habit of re-starting games where I've picked Random options because I didn't like what Random gave me (ie I really deep down wanted my Setup a certain way and was expecting by picking Random the game would just by chance give me what I wanted)...:)

Yea, I understand you, but then we have the choice of not using the random map option. It`s an option that`s in Civ 5 and most of the time I use, sometimes I do `reroll` for a bigger map, most times I stick with what I get.
