Made some custom race pictures.

I decided to try my hand at "making" races since there don't seem to be a lot of custom race mods other than Gauntlet. No factions, just foregrounds and matching portraits.

Thanks, I have don't have the necessary tools to edit my own so I whenever I make them it usually takes a day each. This helps a lot and some cover appearances I have been thinking of doing. The creepy one with glowing red eyes makes for an interesting unfortunate species of traders that nobody wants to deal with due to their appearances, and the long eared guy will work great for a society based on Platon's aristocracy. Good stuff!

I am not that much for the cartoony ones but I appreciate the variety of styles to cover all kinds of tastes.

You don't need anything special. The tool I used for the nicer ones was just the "paths tool" in GIMP to cut them out of their backgrounds. Before last night I didn't know what that button did.

 

EDIT: Just noticed the TallAlien had a bit of stuff floating off to the side. File updated.
