Can't trade with Iridium. Other factions are ok.

I thought this was a one off thing, but this is the second game in a row where I can no longer trade any of my stuff except BCs to the Iridium.

My last and current games are godlike (suicidal), no mods, vanilla races.  I'm playing a custom race on my current game, trying to get the Steam achievement that didn't work the last time.  My last game was played as vanilla Krynn.

My last game was 1.12 and my current one is 1.2.

In both games, I was able to trade with the Iridium and then my options just disappeared.  I don't know if this is something to do with the Iridium or if it's a bug.  I can trade techs or whatnot with the other races.

Here's a screenie...

I've had this sort of thing with the Iridium as well. Never anyone else, just them.

I actually had this problem with the Drengin, but it was the reverse. The Drengin's list only had credit, whereas I could trade anything of mines. In that same game, I had my faction power drop to 0 for no reason several times. However, after about 20 turns, everything returned to normal.

Yeah, I'm also getting this (bug?) now as well.

Can you submit a ticket (https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit) with the save game attached so we can take a look?  Thank you.

I submitted a ticket.

Pretty sure the trade panel simply can't keep up with the large empires that are possible on Insane maps and thus the whole panel goes black, whilst occasionally coming back every once and a while.

I don't think that's it tbh. I've seen the AI with 150+ planets and 500+ ships with no problems, while the Iridium have been lagging behind and still screwed up.

Ah ok, in this case the AI has 250+ planets and 4500+ ships :D I'll check the AI file and see if its using Iridium tech

EDIT: in this case the steam created faction is using the Thalan tech tree and ship style.

I've Had this since 1.1, first with altarians, than on 1.2 several times usuallly with the drengin.

This Currently is happening (I'm playing insane size galaxy) with every single one of my adversaries.

including the 8 minors left. So it's not a question of overloading of info it's something else. I've submitted a ticket a couple of weeks ago.

I can resubmit but the ticket has been closed at the moment, so I'd imagine you're looking at it

It has also happened once to the AI only. I could trade anything but only ask for credits. Honestly I've tried to pinpoint a trigger but have been unable to. it has happened on different games from as early as turn 200 up to turn 600.

But it's happenening with all AI players at the moment in my current game. To some I can only offer and accept credits to others I can offer anything but only ask for credits to some I can only offer credits and ask for anything and to a few, I can offer anything and accept anything.

But There's no consistency. Except well the civs that like more tend to have less of this bug.

Is there a cheat code I can force give the planet to the other civ?

Dan

P.S.: this is really annoying as I colonised a planet in the middle of a weak civ, just for the ideology points and now my greater influence is eating the civ up, while I had always wanted to give that civ the planet in the first place

P.P.S.: Apologies for the broken english

I'm currently playing 1.32, but it has happened on every single game instance.

Editted for grammar, several times, and still...
