Pariden Research Outpost Quest

When I deliver the Paridenian Artifact, which is in my inventory, to the Research Outpost, this is what happens:

They ask me: Have you done it? Have you crafted the artifact for us?

Answer: Yup we've got it right here.

Their reply: Excellent. And we shall reward you as promised.

After this, nothing happens.  The screen freezes right here and the game stops.  I have to do a control/alternate/delete to exit the game.

Can you help me?  Thanks.

So far no reply at all.  Can anyone help me?????????
