I got email confirmation about reward for validating my email thru Stardock but how do I use the reward. I'm assuming its giving me the DLC that you normally would have to pay $4.99. Any help.
It does when you follow the instructions to enter a key in steam. Though I honestly don't know what it included yet.
According to this thread, you get additional ship parts for the ship designer.
...wit's end, I can find nothing on steam that prompts me to enter a key from Stardock. Where should I be looking? I got the key from 'the dock' but no further instructions on where to go to enter other than Steam which I find enigmatic as to how/where to enter a key. Specifics for we who also stand and wait...thnx in advance
The DLC you get is not the mega events DLC or the map DLC, it is a ship part DLC with 6 or 7 new parts. From another thread the way you seem to go about redeeming the code is to go to Games in the top bar menu of the Steam client and click on Activate a Product on Steam and go through and put in the code there. You should see it turn up in your list of DLC for the game as Registration DLC or something along those lines.
You'll need to be within the Steam application to activate the key.
